The Cowal Way is a 57 mile long distance tourism footpath which stretches from Portavadie in Loch Fyne, to Inveruglas at Loch Lomond, Ascotland. The path passes through the remote communities of Tighnabruaich, Glendaruel, Strachur, Lochgoilhead and Arrochar.
The Cowal Way App provides information on the walking route such as navigational text, high quality photography, audio commentary from the original founder of the Cowal Way, and information on things to see and do in the area.
This includes: heritage sites such as castle ruins, churches and a Viking grave; sites of natural beauty like the Sruth Ban falls; modern architecture including the An Ceann Mor viewpoint at Loch Lomond; and examples of wildlife such as the iconic Golden Eagle and popular Red Squirrel.
